First Trip to the Zoo!

We thought it would be fun to do a family outing before heading over to Lake Chelan for a week with tons of extended family.  Ben and I had a blast checking out all the cool animals and Lizzy had fun, while she was awake.  But in all honesty she was alseep through most of it, like most six week old babies probably would be!

First Smile

Although this picture is not her actual first smile it was the first time I could catch Lizzy smiling for the camera!  She began to really smile around the 22nd of July and now each morning when we get her from her crib she is all smiles and giggles.  Mommy and daddy love it!

Lizzy's Baby Shower

My mom and sister threw a beautiful shower back in April, prior to Lizzy's arrival.  It was filled with brown and green as we weren't sure if Lizzy was a boy or a girl at that point!  July 17th we did a shower with the Swerk side.  It was wonderful to see everyone from family to work friends of Ben's!  Thank you all for your generosity and kindness ... Lizzy is officially spoiled!
